Coffee Overnight Oats

Wake up to creamy, coffee-infused overnight oats! These power-packed oats are super easy to make the night before and perfect for busy mornings.

I dissolve instant coffee powder in hot water to infuse every bite with a robust coffee flavour. Then stir in some honey for sweetness along with warming cinnamon, oats, and thick Greek yogurt.

Pop it in the fridge overnight so the oats can soak up all that delicious flavour. By morning, you have a nutritious breakfast ready to grab and go! The oats soften into a creamy, pudding-like texture that’s so satisfying. Top with extra coffee powder for a pretty accent.

Now you can have a barista-quality breakfast without leaving your kitchen! Make these ahead when you’re low on time. Enjoy the cosy coffeehouse feels at home.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
3 tbsp rolled oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp instant coffee powder
1 cup hot water
1 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
3-4 tbsp plain yogurt
1 tsp instant coffee powder for garnish

Instructions:

In a small cup, dissolve 1 tbsp instant coffee powder in 1 hot water. Stir well until dissolved. Keep aside.

In another cup/container, Add the oats chia seeds, add the coffee mixture prepared above and stir well.
Stir in honey and add cinnamon powder.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight (minimum 6 hours) to allow flavors to develop.

Next morning add yogurt and sprinkle with coffee powder and consume immediately.

Tips:

Feel free to adjust coffee powder to taste preference. More for stronger coffee flavour.
Substitute milk for water if you prefer a creamier texture.

To Serve:

Stir the chilled oats well before serving.
Microwave for 1 minute if you prefer a warm breakfast.
Top with a sprinkle of instant coffee powder.
