  1. In a glass or jug, add the sattu (roasted chana flour).

  2. Pour in a little cold water and whisk well into a smooth, lump-free paste.

  3. Add the finely chopped onion, roasted cumin powder, black pepper, lemon juice and black salt.

  4. Add the chopped coriander and mint leaves.

  5. Top up with the remaining cold water and stir well until evenly combined.

  6. Add ice cubes, give it a final stir, and serve chilled.
